Fun and eco-friendly periods!

Where I’ve been getting my stash so far!

There is a huge amount of eco-friendly menstrual websites right now, and the more I do research, the more I find totally awesome companies. I’m going to promote where I’ve bought all of my current loot, but I’m definitely going to put together a nice list of different options, since all of these companies are all great and doing wonderful things.

I started finding all of these cool companies while on the search for a place to get a Diva Cup, which is the menstrual cup I’ve finally been able to use! I went to the Diva Cup website and went to the first website that came up, which is where I’ve bought everything now! I had no idea that a healthy foods store in Bloomington carried the Diva Cup, but that’s besides the point haha.

Enter, Lunapads!!

This is a truly wonderful company to buy from. They are located in Canada, so it takes a teensy bit longer to get the products if you’re in the States, but it’s so worth the wait! Lunapads is a woman run company, and they started in ‘93 by making the reusable pads and panties. They even work with charities that provide pads to women all over the world who don’t have access to hygiene products. You can donate to it when you make an order. So empowering for women everywhere!

They have everything your eco-friendly period body could ever want, and they are always adding new goodies. And everything is just so damn cute! They carry everything from the Diva Cup, reusable pads, pantiliners, and even “Lunapanties!” Those are totally awesome underwear where you stick a reusable pad liner in and you’re set. I’m totally investing in some of those with my next purchase.

How awesome are those Lunapanties??! Would be the best  for sleeping in.

I could go on and on about how awesome this store is. They have eco-friendly warming lube, which is great with all of the nasties that are in the recently introduced special lubes on the market. They also have laundry options and jewelry, and even an awesome thing that will let you pee standing up! 

This is what turned me onto this journey. Seriously, there are other great stores out there. I’ve just had a wonderful experience with all of those ladies.
